Mark J. Goch was born in Trenton New Jersey in 1965. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Psychology from the University of Virginia in 1987. In 1992, he received his Doctor of Dental
Surgery degree from the University of Maryland College of Dentistry and in 1993 his AEGD
(general dentistry residency) from Temple University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Goch has been a practicing general dentist since 1993. He is a member of the Academy of
General Dentistry and received an award for professional excellence from the Northern Virginia
Prosthodontics Society.
Dr. Goch loves family activities with his wife Candice and daughter Summer. He was a NCAA
All-American Athlete and U.S. Olympic Swim Team Qualifier, but an injury prevented him
from competing in the Olympics. He also enjoys cooking, ballroom dancing, masters swimming,
and scuba diving. He has competed in two Ironman triathlon races.
